Assassin’s Creed: Origins reveals what’s coming next in November

Get ready to battle Anubis.

Assassin's Creed: Origins isn't even a week old, and Ubisoft is already looking to the future with the game. The company recently made a post on their official website detailing the content that will be coming to the game in the near future. The headliner involves the Trial of the Gods which will bring players face to face in an epic battle against the god of the dead, Anubis.

There aren't any concrete details on what exactly this battle will entail, but it is due to drop on November 7th, and Ubisoft says they will bring more details in the near future.

Other than that, there will be some new additions to the in-game store, the Nightmare and First Civilization packs. Acquiring the packs can be done so by using Helix Credits or by buying Heka Chests from the Nomad Bazaar. The only problem with Heka Chests is that they are random drops, so if you are after these packs specifically, you'll have to pony up the Helix Credits.

Both the Nightmare and First Civilization Packs comes with four weapons and a mount skin, though the former turns your trusty steed into an undead monstrosity set ablaze. Check out the screenshot below:

If you are a Season Pass owner, there are two packs that will be coming your way as well; the Roman Centurion and Horus packs. Each pack comes with gear, a new mount skin, and a new outfit. Ubisoft will also be hosting a community stream on Twitch tomorrow, so if you're looking to get your fix on more Assassin's Creed: Origins, be sure to check that out.

Assassin's Creed: Origins is available now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
