The first Trials of the Gods event has officially kicked off in Assassin’s Creed Origins, bringing players the opportunity to battle the god of the dead, Anubis, for some nice loot.
The location for the event should appear on your map, but before you head in, you should know that it is suggested that you’re level 40. It is possible to access the event without being level 40, however, that means you will be dying plenty.
Defeating Anubis will reward you with a weapon, one in a set of four. You can only obtain one weapon per Trial along with 250 Drachma and 1000 XP. Once you’ve beaten Anubis, you will continue to receive XP and drachma but no further items, if you want to continue fighting the God.
Once you obtain all four weapons, meaning four separate Trials, you will automatically receive an outfit upon completion.
If you are unable to reach level 40 prior to the event ending, you will have another opportunity to take on Anubis in the future.
The Anubis Trials of the God event will be available until November 14th.
