Assassin’s Creed: Rogue PC specs and controller support revealed

The official release date for Assassin's Creed: Rogue was announced by Ubisoft today, that means that we should get tons of information on the PC version – right? Kind of, but not really.

The only other information we get are the compatible controllers and the minimum PC specs (which show it could be run on a toaster). Rogue will allow players to choose between the Xbox 360 controller, Tobii EyeX Controller and SteelSeries Sentry (or the obvious mouse and key board). Pairing the Steel Series Sentry with the Tobii eye tracking will allow players to control the camera view by looking around the screen…which is pretty cool.

Without further ado, here are the minimum specs in question:

Minimum

Sound:

  • DirectX Compatible Sound Card with latest driver

DirectX:

  • DirectX June 2010 Redistributable

Hard Drive Space:

  • 11.4 GB

Operating System:

  • Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 8/8.1 (64bit versions only)

Processor:

  • Intel Core2Quad Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon II X4 620 @ 2.6 GHz

RAM:

  • 2GB

Video Card:

  • nVidia GeForce GTS450 or AMD Radeon HD5670 (1024MB VRAM) or Intel HD4600
