Assassin's Creed Syndicate has only been officially unveiled for a few hours and already we've learned that it'll have a Season Pass. Of course, anyone familiar with Ubisoft's business model — or the current state of the gaming industry for that matter — probably already expected this.
Anyway, Amazon's listing for the newly revealed game offers Assassin's Creed Gold Edition, a special edition which includes the full game plus the Season Pass "featuring a major expansion plus digital content and exclusives."
Of course, no specific details are available, but it does look like the Season Pass will cost around $30. Amazon lists the standard version of the game for $59.99, while the Gold Edition is priced at $89.99. Rather than a discount (assuming the Season Pass won't cost an absurd $40 on its own), it looks like Ubisoft will be offering exclusives for those who just purchase the Season Pass from the get-go.
In the past, DLC for previous Assassin's Creed games have included additional story campaigns, new missions and equipment, and exclusive items. Expect the same with Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
