Assassin’s Creed Syndicate rumored to have playable female character

Looks like Ubisoft learned how to model female characters

If the rumors are true, Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed game — which will be making its official reveal tomorrow — will have a playable female character. According to an anonymous source there will be a playable female assassin in Ubisoft's next installment of the series, rumored to be titled Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

Assassin's Creed Victory Syndicate will feature a brother-sister duo, by the names of Jacob and Evie. Both will be playable, but it won't be a 50/50 gameplay split between both characters. According to the source, you will play Jacob 75% of the time and Evie 25% of the time.

In between missions, players will be able to freely switch between the two protagonists (if you can call someone you play 25% of the time a protagonist). The two will be very involved in the criminal underworld of Victorian London – which makes sense, considering that's the game's setting. The source also pointed out that Syndicate would not feature any multiplayer modes.

Ubisoft has not responded to poking and prodding from Kotaku.
