Ubisoft has updated their FAQ page regarding the free game they promised for the problems experienced during Assassin's Creed Unity's launch.
Starting next week, Ubisoft will launch a dedicated website where gamers who purchased the Season Pass or Assassin's Creed Unity Gold Edition can log in and select one of the free games listed below:
Once redeemed, the free game will be on the same platform as your copy of Assassin's Creed Unity. The free game must be redeemed by no later than March 15, 2015.
In addition to the free game, anyone who has purchased Assassin's Creed Unity will receive the Dead Kings DLC for free. This will be available to download through the Xbox One Marketplace, PlayStation Store, or Uplay/Steam Store once released. As a result, Ubisoft will also be discontinuing the sale of the Season Pass. However, any current Season Pass owners will still be able to download Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China when it becomes available. Ubisoft says they are "exploring" options to make this available for other consumers who didn't already buy into the Season Pass.
