Assassin’s Creed Origins’ Curse of the Pharaohs DLC gets a launch trailer

If you’re craving more Assassin’s Creed, Ubisoft has you covered with the new Curse of the Pharaohs DLC for Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Players will dig deeper into Egyptian mythology four years after the events of Origins. Curse of the Pharaohs will see players continue to play as Bayek where he will travel to Thebes to investigate a curse that has caused great suffering to those in the region. Bayek’s journey will lead him into ancient tombs, temples, and put him up against deadly mystical beasts such as giant scorpions and famous undead pharaohs from Egyptian mythology.

With the new story content, players will also be able to gain a host of new weaponry, outfits, and abilities as well as gain the ability to level up to level 55. The DLC will release tomorrow, March 13th, on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. You can view the launch trailer below.

It sounds like Ubisoft will be taking a year off from Assassin’s Creed again to give the series breathing room and allow them to take their time with the next entry but Origins has no shortage of content for players to chew on.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is out now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
