If you have been feeling a desperate need to play classic Atari games, you won't have to wait too much longer — they are coming to Steam. Atari has revealed the Atari Vault bundle that will bring the some of the publisher's most famous classic games to the PC equipped with new features and multiplayer capabilities.
Atari didn't detail the 100 games included in the Vault bundle, but they did specify that 'fan-favorite' games like Asteroids, Centipede, Missile Command, Tempest, and Warlords would be included in the bundle.
The games will have an upgraded user interface, online and local multiplayer, and will be fully supported by the Steam Controller. It is unclear whether the Atari Vault will feature remakes, arcade games or what, however, Atari does tease that players on Steam Leaderboards can "compete for arcade supremacy." Atari will further detail Atari Vault during PAX South later this month in San Antonio.
