Atomic Wonder Woman joins Infinite Crisis as newest champion

Infinite Crisis, the free-to-play MOBA from Turbine based in the DC Comics universe, has a new champion available — Atomic Wonder Woman. She comes armed with unwavering hope and a chainsaw of justice… and she looks really freakin' cool. I'll have a ton of fun dying to this melee assassin…

Here's her back story:

The Cold War reaches full tilt, and Earth's Superpowers hold their fingers over the button. Wonder Woman’s mission to forge peace is shattered by an object from space. It explodes above a small town in Kansas, sparking World War III, and no city or nation escapes from the nuclear firestorm. In the aftermath worldwide devastation, Wonder Woman realizes her mission is now one of restoration. A melee Assassin who builds momentum by revving up her chainsaw, Atomic Wonder Woman boosts her powers with expert timing.

People attending Gamescom 2013 will be able to play as Atomic Wonder Woman in the Coast City map. You can do this at the Infinite Crisis booth in the Electronics Sports League hall CM Storm Area.

If you're wondering when you'll be able to play as Atomic Wonder Woman, she'll be playable in the closed beta starting Wednesday, August 21.
