Attack on Titan joins the English Weiss Schwarz family before Japan

Today, Bushiroad announced that Attack on Titan will be added to the Weiss Schwarz trading card game. This was disclosed during Japan’s Chaos Festival held in Akihabara UDX held in December of 2014.

The kicker here, is that the English Edition of Weiss Schwarz’s Attack on Titan will be released BEFORE the Japanese version of these cards. This is the first time this has ever happened. While we don’t have an exact date, these decks are said be released sometime in the middle of 2015. There will be the both a trail deck and booster packs.

Weiss Schwarz is a popular TCG in Japan that has been coming to the US. The concept revolves around players making decks built with their favorite licensed anime characters and having them battle other player’s deck built with their favorite anime characters. The card art is often directly form the anime or artists sketches, always beautiful. For more information, check out their English site.

It’s time to collect Eren, Mikasa, and the others as they take on the ‘Titans’ know as enemy decks.
