Microsoft's Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb has announced August's lineup of free Games with Gold for both Xbox One and Xbox 360. And ya know what? This may be one of the best months we've seen in terms of free games for Xbox LIVE Gold members.
Xbox One owners won't have to wait until the middle of the month to have access to their second free game, as Microsoft announced plans to release both next month's free Xbox One Games with Gold titles on August 1. They will replace Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition and Max: The Curse of the Brotherhood which was available for two months in a row.
Unfortunately, Xbox 360 owners will have to abide by normal release schedule. Motorcross Madness and Dishonored will replace Gotham City Impostors and BattleBlock Theater.

Xbox One
Crimson Dragon
Normally $19.99, Crimson Dragon is a rail shooter seen as the spiritual successor to the Panzer Dragoon series. The game takes place on a recently colonized planet inhabited by dragons, which humans have since become able to ride and control. You'll control your dragon and fight off the violent enemy life forms, teach your dragon new skills and train it to face combat in harder missions.
Strike Suit Zero
Strike Suit Zero is the second free game of the month, and will be available on August 1 as well. Also $19.99 normally, Strike Suit Zero is a space flight combat game from independent studio Born Ready Games who looks to revive the space combat genre by introducing "strike mode" as a new element to the dogfight-based gameplay.
Xbox 360
Motorcross Madness
Motorcross Madness (normally $9.99) will be Xbox 360's first free Games with Gold title starting on Friday, August 1. The game offers 9 expansive offroad tracks in single player events, ghost challenges, and 8-player multiplayer races.
Dishonored
Okay,so I think up until now many of you would agree that August's free games are a bit disappointing. But on August 16, it'll all be worth it as Xbox LIVE Gold members will be able to download Dishonored for free on Xbox 360. From the brilliant minds over at Arkane Studios and Bethesda comes this immersive first-person action game that casts you as a supernatural assassin drive by revenge.
