Australian ratings board lists Dead Island: Retro Revenge

The Australian ratings board has listed a game called Dead Island: Retro Revenge for release on multiple platforms.

Filed yesterday, February 11th, the listing holds true to the franchise by advising bloody violence and online interactivity. The game will be published by Koch Media, and developed by Empty Clip Studios. Other than a handful of portable games, Empty Clip Studios has only developed two console titles in Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine for Xbox and Auditorium HD for both PS3/Vita. With no experience whatsoever in zombie games, it's an odd choice that Empty Clip Studios was given the reigns for this game. Of course, with no other information other than a multi-platform release, along with the studio's track record, Dead Island: Retro Revenge may be a mobile game as well.

Dead Island 2 was canceled and no one knows what is going on with the Definitive Edition, so we'll have to wait a little longer to find out what exactly is going on with Retro Revenge.
