As we learned at E3, the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag will get their very own special bonus content featuring Aveline de Grandpré, the main hero of the PlayStation Vita exclusive, Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation.
The content will total about one hour of gameplay and consist of three missions which we now know is being penned by Jill Murray, the writer of Liberation. According to Ubisoft, the missions in Black Flag will "pick up a ways after her story in Liberation ends."
"It’s a ways forward so Aveline is a bit older,” Lead Writer Darby McDevitt explained. “It’s not directly related to the end of her story. If Assassin’s Creed IV is like a novel, Aveline’s missions are like a short story.”
Head over to the Ubi blog for more details as to how the missions are made possible (thanks to some of Abstergo's Animus upgrades).
