Avengers: Age of Ultron has yet to hit theaters here in the U.S., but new reports have already revealed that there's an extended version of the ending, as well as an alternate ending, of the one that'll be shown in theaters.
An email from Amazon (via ScreenCrush) encouraging pre-orders for the Avengers: Age of Ultron Blu-ray and DVD has revealed both will include "an extended version and alternate ending."
Now I haven't seen the theaterical version, as it's not out yet, but there's no word on what these changes and extended scenes will consist of. For what it's worth, director Joss Whedon has previously revealed that his original cut of the movie was more than three hours long.
I'm not as surprised with the extended scenes as I am with Amazon's already encouraging us to pre-order the Blue-ray or DVD.
Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in the U.S. on May 1st.
