Awesomenauts: Starstorm successfully funded through Kickstarter

Starstorm, Romino Games' expansion for its 2D MOBA Awesomenauts, has been successfully funded through a Kickstarter campaign which yesterday saw the base funding goal of $125,000 reached.

"Now that the funding target has been reached, the actual expansion will go into production right away," Romino told us. Starstorm will bring with it three new characters along with a Spectator mode, global chat, and twin stick controller support.

Romino Games also announced that they have opened up their own crowdfunding page containing more payment platforms to allow additional fans to back the expansion. Further stretch goals include a new map, a replay system, customizable matches, and full Steamworks and modding support.
