Baldur’s Gate and Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition potentially jumping to Vita

Developer Beamdog has been busy bringing some classic games back into the spotlight. Not too long ago we saw Baldur's Gate1 & 2 Enhanced Edition release, no more than a month ago we saw Icewind Dale get and Enhanced Edition release.

What's Beamdog doing now? Well, they took to Reddit to let the community ask them questions – one of the questions brought some pretty great news.

A question was asked regarding whether or not there was any chance of seeing Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale make the jump off of the PC and on to the Vita. The response came from Beamdog's Trent and read something like this:

We've got a vita dev unit now. Once we complete our current planned work we'll start poking it. We have an few internal Vita fanboys, so they keep hassling us for it.

So, Beamdog is going to have a go at the Vita once they wrap up their current project. Calm your internal screaming, it's exciting I know, but hold out on celebration until it becomes official.
