Bandai Namco trademarks ‘Slashy Souls’

Bandai Namco has been hard at work confusing people on what the heck they are up to. Recently, the game developer and publisher filed three new trademarks in the United States and Europe.

Europe was only gifted with one trademark filing for “Burning Blood,” while the United States saw  “Thousand Storm” and “Slashy Souls.” Thousand Storm was trademarked in Japan last month, so it's definitely a thing.

While Burning Blood and Thousand Storm could very well be anything, Slashy Souls sounds eerily similar to their Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls series. The Souls games are developed by FromSoft, but Bandai Namco acts as the publisher… Which means that Slashy Souls could be a mobile game. I know, deal with the dread and download it when it releases becuase you're addicted to the series and refuse to admit it.
