Banjo-Kazooie and Perfect Dark soundtracks come to vinyl

On the heels of the release of the wonderful Rare Replay collection, the soundtracks to Banjo-Kazooie and Perfect Dark have made their way to vinyl, just in time to join the previously revealed Battletoads soundtrack.

All three soundtracks will be handled by iam8bit, a known celebrator of games media, and limited to 3,000 copies, which will become available for pre-order at 10 a.m. Pacific tomorrow, August 4. Banjo-Kazooie and Perfect Dark’s OSTs will be available for $35.00, while Battletoads will run you $25.00.

The Banjo-Kazooie OST is a two-disc set featuring 21 songs and surreal cover art by Jacub Gagnon. Perfect Dark’s 19 tracks also got the two-disc treatment, but bear art by Marco D’Alfonso. Despite sharing Perfect Dark’s track count, Battletoads is a one-disc set, which can be attributed to its age. All discs are of 180 gram vinyl.

Iam8bit also handled Journey’s vinyl debut. The group’s Rare collection joins the vinyl release of The Last of Us soundtrack, courtesy of Mondo Music.
