Banjo Kazooie spiritual successor is gearing up to have the best album ever

Veteran Rare composers are in!

If you thought that the spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie was just a farce, you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Playtonic, the developers of the spiritual successor (who are former Rare developers) have brought in some more talent to bring the spiritual successor to life.

The talent comes in the form of Grant Kirkhope, David Wise and Steve Burke. You might not know those names off-hand, I'll admit that I didn't recognize them either…but that doesn't mean we shouldn't know who they are!

Grant Kirkhope is the very man that composed the music in Banjo-Kazooie, Viva Piñata, and more — including this spiritual successor! Next up, David Wise, is bringing 10-years of Rare music composing to the plate. Wise has even worked on the notable Donkey Kong Country series. Last up, Steve Burke, the man made the score for Kameo: Elements of Power and the sound effects for Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts 'n Bolts.

Basically, this is going to be the best game album ever, if you disagree you aren't allowed back on this page of hype.

I feel like I'm the only one on the hype train for this one — at least in my office.

Hype train, Banjo-Kazooie
