Batman: Arkham City PS4,Xbox One Remaster compared to PC Original yields surprising results

If you've been wondering whether or not you should check out Batman: Return to Arkham, you'll probably want to know how it compares to the original.

According to DigitalFoundry, your best bet might be to grab the original games on PC (if your PC can handle it). The remaster features remodeled characters, improved lighting, high-resolution effects and shaders, but not everything is a clear upgrade.

Specifically looking at Arkham City, Digital Foundry broke down what the remaster brings to Xbox One and PS4.

Penguin looks quite a bit more detailed, while Two-Face doesn't see much of a change.

Characters weren't altered across the board and neither was clothing was. The video shows off a ton of extra details that have been added to clothing from Batman's cape to the stitching on Harley Quinn's corset but not to Batman's face.

It's interesting to see what was added to the game in the Remaster and what was removed (like some lighting). Check out the entire comparison below:
