Something nobody expected was teased during tonight's VGA awards. Batman: Arkham City looks like it's getting a sequel…or a threequal.
Rocksteady teased the new game, potentially being called Batman: Arkham World.
The Joker accepted a mock award and preceeded to hold up a script that read "Batman: Arkham World Script".
On the back of the script was "Rocksteady Confidential"
The Joker then said, "I don't think I'll be needing this anymore…Whoops! Spoilers."
So while it wasn't officially confirmed, it's about as sure of a thing as a rumor can get.
Given the success of Batman: Arkham City this really shouldn't come as a surprise. But I'm sure it comes as a delight to many!
