Warner Bros. Interactive, publisher behind the widely renowned game, Batman: Arkham City, has reported that the title has now shipped over six million units.
The number, revealed during a recent financial report, represents the total units shipped to retailers, not the number actually sold to gamers. Nevertheless, this outstanding figure means that the game has shipped 1.4 million units since October – an outstanding mark when you think of the quality, triple-A titles the game went up against during last fall.
If you haven't had a chance to try out Arkham City, please do yourself a favor and pick up a copy. Not only is the story absolutely thrilling, the gameplay and voice-acting will leave you breathless. Congratulations to Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Interactive on this landmark number; hopefully we will see it hit 10 million by the end of this year.
