Batman: Arkham Knight ‘definitely’ releasing June 23, assures game director

Fans concerned about another possible delay for Batman: Arkham Knight can rest easy, as the game's director confirmed it will release on June 23rd as expected.

As we reported earlier, DC Comics announced today  a new six-issue mini-series called Batman: Arkham Knight – Genesis that will explore the origin of the game's villain, Arkham Knight. However, the comic's July 29th debut, about a month after the game is set to release, had us questioning if another delay is on the way. Thankfully, it doesn't sound like it.

So what does this mean? Well, it's unclear how much of Arkham Knight's past will be addressed in the game, but if fans want to read more about his origin, they'll be able to. Perhaps DC Comics is hoping the game will generate enough interest in the villain that you'll want to read more about him a month later.
