Batman: Arkham Knight finally gets patched on PC

Following the recent leak of Batman: Arkham Knight's PC patch, Warner Bros. has officially released a patch that is intended to fix some of the issues that left the game a mess on PC. This patch should fix some of the major issues PC players were encountering, but might not get them all as it is an "interim" patch.

Future updates will add further support and improvements to the game, but who knows when those will come.

Today's patch will bring the following fixes and improvements:

• Reduced frame rate hitches
• Optimizations for system memory and VRAM usage
• Improved performance on all GPUs (requires the latest drivers)
• More Comprehensive In-Game Settings
• Fixed low resolution texture bugs
• Fixed hitches when running on mechanical hard drives (HDD)

Warner Bros. mentioned that they are working on future updates for the game that will continue their journey of fixing the hot-mess that is Arkham Knight on PC. Note that the following fixes will come in future updates, with an 's', as in… multiple updates:

• Adding support for SLI and Crossfire
• Adding support for the latest DLC & Season Pass content
• Adding support for additional updates such as Photo Mode
• Continued improvements and bug fixing for a Windows 7 specific memory issue that occurs on configurations with 8GB of system RAM and some NVIDIA GPUs during extended game play
• Continued improvements for Windows 10 specific issues on systems with some AMD GPUs

Hopefully this patch won't leave you depending on future patches to get the game rolling.
