Since its launch in June, Batman: Arkham Knight has been a complete mess on PC. In fact, it's so bad that Warner Bros. has actually suspended the sale of the PC version of the otherwise critically acclaimed game until further notice.
While a leaked memo suggests that a full-fledged fix for the game won't arrive before September at the earliest, Warner Bros. has announced plans to release an "interim" patch for existing players that will "address many of the issues" plaguing the PC version of the game.
Announcing the plans on Steam, Warner Bros. wrote:
"As an update, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Rocksteady and our partners are targeting an interim patch update for existing players to be released in August. This update will address many of the issues we listed in our June 27 update. We will provide additional details as we finalize that interim patch over the coming weeks.
We would like to thank you for your continued patience and invaluable feedback. We are continuing to monitor and listen for any additional issues and are driving towards a full update for everyone as quickly as we possibly can."
Of course, it goes without saying that because of all the problems, Batman: Arkham Knight's Batgirl DLC also won't be released for PC any time soon. But I think you already figured as much.
