Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a new batch of screenshots for Batman: Arkham Knight, Rocksteady Studios' finale to the Batman: Arkham trilogy (we're ignoring the Warner Bros.-developed Arkham Origins).
Among the shots are images of Batman and the Batmobile, which which will be able to drive for the first time in franchise history. The screenshots also show off the game's new villain, Arkham Knight. That's right, the game isn't named after Batman, but rather one of the villains you'll square off against. You'll also face The Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face, and Harley Quinn.
I think more important than anything, the images highlight the graphical capabilities of the Xbox One and PS4 — seriously, these screenshots are freaking gorgeous.
Batman: Arkham Knight is due out for Xbox One, PS4 and PC sometime in 2014. You can see the first trailer for the game here.
