Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass, Premium Edition announced

This probably doesn't come as much of a surprise, but Warner Bros. and Rocksteady have announced that Batman: Arkham Knight will have a season pass.

Although the exact contents have yet to be detailed, the developer confirmed that the season pass will grant access to six months' worth of "regular new content" which will include "story missions, super-villains, legendary Batmobile skins, advanced challenge maps, alternative character skins, and new drivable race tracks."

The Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass is priced at $39.99 and is included for free in the Batman: Arkham Knight Premium Edition which is priced at $99.99.

The announcement comes on the heels of yesterday's trailer which revealed a brand new feature called Dual Play. As revealed in the trailer (above), this allows you to switch seamlessly between Batman and his allies, including Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman in free-flow combat.

Batman: Arkham Knight is set to release on June 23, 2015. Pre-ordering the highly anticipated game will reward you with two additional DLC packs for free: The Harley Quinn Story Pack, which lets you play as Joker's psychotic girlfriend, and the Red Hood Story Pack, which sees you play as the ruthless vigilante Red Hood.
