Batman: Arkham Knight trailer asks for Mercy

As unlikely of a pairing as it may seem Rocksteady Studios has released a new TV Spot for Batman: Arkham Knight set to the tune of Muses brand new track, Mercy. According to lead singer Matt Bellamy, Muse's latest album “explores the journey of a human: from abandonment and loss of hope, to indoctrination by the system to be a human drone, to eventual defection from the oppressors."

These concepts are found through out the Batman Arkham series. The TV Spot trailer opens up with the line "So, this is how it happened, this is how the Batman died," a cryptic enough statement to have us more than interested.

Batman: Arkham Knight is the final installment in the game series and while they tease the death of Batman — it may not be his actual death. It could be moment when Batman sets down his mask and cape for good, to resume his life as Bruce Wayne… Without any need for violent nights.

Or he could just die in the end.
