Update:
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has confirmed Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Deluxe Edition for the United States as well. It will be released on April 1, 2014 for $19.99.
Original:
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate has been announced for console and PC release. Previously leaked, the 3DS and Vita spin-off of Batman: Arkham Origins will be re-released as a "Deluxe Edition" for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC.
Armature Studio, the same team behind Blackgate for handheld, will also be developing the console and PC versions. Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Deluxe Edition is said to deliver "the same dynamic story and gameplay, now in high-definition." Also new is a new map and hint system for improved navigation and objective tracking, fully-voiced narration, and 5.1 surround sound.
At this point, Arkham Origins Blackgate – Deluxe Edition has only been confirmed for a UK release on April 2nd, but it can be assumed that we'll soon be getting a press release announcing its release in the U.S. as well (probably on Tuesday, April 1). It'll be available via PSN, Xbox LIVE, Nintendo eShop, and Steam for £15.99.
