Virtuous, the developers behind such remasters as Batman: Return to Arkham, Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster apparently are working to bring an existing AAA game to the Nintendo Switch. The discovery was initially made by YouTuber and NeoGAF poster Doctre81, who pulled the info from the LinkedIn profile of Xiaoyu Zhang, a Senior Programmer over at Virtuous.
Here's a screenshot of the info:
There aren't any details to pick out that would point to what game it is Virtuous is looking to bring to the Nintendo Switch, but their latest project, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age would be another great addition to the console's library. Another and potentially safer possibility would be a port of Batman: Arkham Knight since the Wii U had already gotten versions of Arkham City and Origins. Coupled with Virtuous' familiarity with the franchise and the fact that the LinkedIn blurb reads like one game instead of a collection of them, and there's reason to think that it could be it.
At this point, it's all conjecture, but at the very least, it looks like Nintendo Switch owners can look forward to another game to add to their library at some point in the future.
