Batman: Return to Arkham HD collection delayed till November

At the earliest, possibly next year

The Batman Return to Arkham Collection seems to be delayed a lot longer than initially expected. After initially being delayed from it's release this month, reports from Eurogamer indicate that the game will now launch in November at the earliest and possibly early next year.

The game includes fully remastered versions of both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, and after the disastrous launch of Arkham Knight it seems a good idea that Warner is putting in their best concerted effort to optomize the quality. Warner issued a statement on the rumored delay to Eurogamer, which was the same as their initial response:

"After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience."

"We do not have a release date yet and will be sure to communicate that once we are sure the game will be ready. We know this is disappointing news, but we feel the extra time will allow the team to create the best gaming experience for our fans."

We'll have to wait an see what happens, but for now I wouldn't hold your breath if you were waiting for the game. Batman: Return to Arkham is set to release for PC, Xbox One and PS4
