Batman's most iconic story is coming to theaters next week and while it was originally to only be released for one night only, Warner Bros. and Fathom Events have added an additional day to make it more accessible for people who can't make it to the first showing!
The showings will now be Monday, July 25th and Tuesday, July 26th with multiple showings depending on your theater. Fathom issued a statement saying the following: "Due to unprecedented demand, a second date and two additional show times have been added. Participating locations for July 26 are limited and ticketing is being set up continuously so click on the orange “Buy Tickets” button to purchase today. If online ticketing is not available for your location, please check back often or visit the local movie theater box office."
You can buy your tickets at Fathom's website or go to your local participating theater to pick up tickets. Keep in mind, only select theaters are hosting screenings of the film so check online ahead of time to see if your theater will be hosting the event.
The event will have some special clips both before and after the film that won't be released anywhere else, so if you're a die hard fan you won't want to miss this! The film will be the first DC animated film to be rated R and one of the few DC animated films to get a theatrical release. The movie will bring back veteran voice actors Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill to reprise their roles as Batman and Joker respectively who will go toe-to-toe in one of the most iconic Batman stories of all time.
For those that can't make it to the theatrical release of the film, fear not! The movie will be getting a digital release on July 26th and a physical release on August 2nd. Fans at Comic-Con will also get a screening of the film before anyone else this Friday on July 22nd!
