Batman v Superman team overseeing work on Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad, and other DC films

This is actually some pretty good news.

Empire has yet to release the latest issue of their magazine, but that isn't stopping the web from sharing pages from the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice cover story. There's plenty of information hidden away in the pages of the magazine, but one of the details focuses on Wonder Woman and Justice League.

According to producer Deborah Snyder, the Wonder Woman movie will begin filming this Autumn in London, with The Justice League slated for shooting in Spring 2016 – possibly in Toronto. An interesting thing to note from this excerpt is how closely tied the Batman v Superman team is with Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad, Justice League and Aquaman.

It seems as though the films are all being overseen by the same people, this should keep the tone constant and help the movies seamlessly fit together. With the film's already crossing in and out of each other's worlds, a sense of fluidity will be welcome:

As Batman V Superman gains its coat of special effects, and the various stages of editing, scoring, grading and sound mixing are completed, Deborah Snyder, along with Roven, is watching over a sandbox that stretches around the world.

Jenkins is in London prepping Wonder Woman, which will shoot there this autumn. Suicide Squad, already well underway in Toronto under the earthy gaze of Ayer, will shoot through to September. “I do watch the dailies,” Deborah Snyder promises, enthusing about the film’s “street quality.”

They are already doing soft prep for the Justice League, which will begin shooting in the spring, and overseeing the script for Aquaman, which James Wan will direct.
