Batman v Superman TV spots invite you to fly to Gotham City and Metropolis

Towards the end of Super Bowl 50, Turkish Airlines debuted two new TV spots for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The viral ads encourage viewers to book a flight with the airline to visit two of DC's most prominant cities — Gotham City and Metropolis.

The viral videos don't necessarily provide us with footage from the movie; instead, they exist as additional marketing material for the highly anticipated film, which features a clash between two of DC's biggest heroes, Batman and Superman. As such, the videos highlight each individual city and feature their prominant, respective figures.

For Gotham City, it's none other than Bruce Wayne, CEO of Wayne Enterprises, who promises "Gotham is being restored to its former glory" after a generous grant from the company.

For Metropolis, it's Lex Luthor, CEO of Lexcorp, who proudly proclaims the city is now "open for business again" following the massive destruction caused by the events in 2013's Man of Steel. You know, the reason Bruce Wayne (Batman) now views Superman as a threat to mankind.

Over on the Turkish Airlines website, you can find travel details for each destination (Gotham | Metropolis), including tourist attractions, culture and entertainment, shopping, and popular restaurants.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice flies into theaters on March 25, 2016.
