Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today released the new trailer for Batman: Arkham City showcasing The Joker and his crew of deadly henchmen.
Though not as creepy as Heath Ledger’s portrayal in The Dark Knight, The Joker still looks like a pretty cool villain. In my hands-on demo of Batman: Arkham City at PAX, I actually had a short run-in, of sorts, with the Clown Prince. When saving Catwoman from Two-Face’s public execution, The Joker interfered when he shot a bullet at me (Batman) from a nearby clock tower. Of course, when I went to investigate, I ran into a trap that only the twisted mind of The Joker could think of. I won’t reveal exactly what that trap was, but if it’s preview of what we can expect from the Joker in Batman: Arkham City, then he will prove as a worthy arch-nemesis.
Although, I had no run-ins with “Mr. Hammer”, I’m sure The Joker’s henchmen will be no easy fight.
Check out the newly released trailer below. Among the cadre of villains that Batman has faced, The Joker stands as one the Dark Knight’s arch-nemesis. With his elaborate schemes and capacity for violence, the Clown Prince of Crime has demonstrated a knack for creating deadly mayhem in Gotham, and now that threat has come to the dangerous streets of Arkham City.
P.S. that voice you’re recognizing as The Joker is none other than the voice of Luke Skywalker. That’s right, the Jedi Master voices over The Joker. Man, finding out Darth Vader was his father really messed his head up. I remember when he was a young boy who just wanted some Power Converters.
The official release candidate for Minecraft 1.0. The “full” game release file fixes bugs from pre-releases and contains some minor polishing/tweaks.
