Fans of RPGs should have a lot to look forward to with THQ Nordic's upcoming slate of games. The publisher has announced that the JRPG-inspired Battle Chasers: Nightwar and RTS/RPG hybrid SpellForce 3 will be launching during the fourth quarter of the 2017 release calendar alongside the open world RPG, ELEX.
Battle Chasers: Nightwar will launch on October 3rd, 2017 while SpellForce 3 arrives later on December 7th. With ELEX launching in between the two games on October 17th, there will be more than enough RPG to go around from THQ Nordic this year. All three games are available to pre-order now on both Steam and GOG.
Here are the official descriptions for both games:
An RPG inspired by the classic console greats, featuring deep dungeon diving, turn-based combat presented in a classic JRPG format, and a rich story driven by exploration of the world.
The perfect blend between RTS and RPG! SpellForce 3 goes back to the roots of the SpellForce saga and combines the RTS and RPG genre in a unique way – all in real time! Explore the world of Eo and become a true legend.
