The Behemoth, the makers of Castle Crashers, are bringing their latest game to PC soon along with some new features.
BattleBlock Theater released last year on Xbox Live Arcade. Now Behemoth is porting the platformer to Steam and adding a few extra touches. Players will be able to switch between primary and secondary weapons, fight new Cat Guard enemies, and share user-created levels through Steam Workshop.
Players can also trade and sell weapons, prisoners, gem, and yarn through Steam Inventory integration.
Behemoth plans to hold a closed beta for the PC version this month between March 24 and March 31, or one week. "A closed beta means you’ll need to register to get a beta key, but anyone 13 years old and up are welcome to sign up!" the developer wrote in a blog post.
"The beta start date is of course subject to change. We’re still updating and testing a bunch of items, and in the event something doesn’t feel right, we might adjust the beta start. Regardless of this, we encourage you to register now."
