Castle Crashers developer The Behemoth hasn't confirmed a release date for its next game, BattleBlock Theater, but it's getting closer to announcing one.
"Although we won’t have a release date this year, or more specifically before the upcoming Mayan Apocalypse, we are excited to be hitting the home stretch with development of this game," the team wrote on its blog.
You and a friend play as prisoners in a theater where evil cats force you to perform to save your lives and the world. The Behemoth still has rounds of testing, fine-tuning, and submitting to do before release. But it has obtained an ESRB Teen rating, which brings the studio one step closer to its goal.
