Battlefield 1 ‘In the Name of the Tsar’ DLC to be shown off at EA Play; Introduces Women’s Battalion of Death

EA announced that they would once again be skipping out on E3 in favor of their own EA Play event at the beginning of the year and have offered light details on what we can expect to see during the event. Of all the games EA detailed to be playable at the event, they skipped over Battlefield 1.

Fortunately, a new image (thanks, Reddit & NeoGaf) is offering up a couple details on what to expect for Battlefield 1, and those details bring us more information on the upcoming Battlefield 1 expansion!

According to the image, the upcoming expansion for Battlefield 1, titled 'In the Name of the Tsar' will bring the following to EA Play viewers:

Starting June 10, EA Play will give you a closer look at 'In the Name of the Tsar.' Coming in late summer, the expansion brings new maps, new weapons, and the Russian army – including the Women's Battalion of Death represented by the Russian Scout class.

As it appears, the Russian Scouts will be introducing the Women's Battalion of Death, which was created as a last-ditch effort to inspire Russian soldiers. In addition to the new faction, the DLC will bring new maps and new weapons!
