EA and DICE have been pretty vague on the specifics for Battlefield 1's Open Beta. We know what map we will be playing on and which modes will be available, but we only got a vague early access tease for Battlefield Insiders and a start date for the Open Beta, no end date.
It appears as though we finally know the details! Battlefield Insiders will be able to access the Battlefield 1 Open Beta, a day in advance on August 30th – as long as you signed up for the Insider program before August 21st.
The Open Beta is allegedly scheduled to be active between August 31st and September 8th. DICE has not confirmed this. The dates were released in a press release from EA Polska, as seen below:

The Open Beta will include one map, the Sinai Desert map, which includes ground warfare, as well as dogfights above the desert.
Two modes will be available as well:
Conquest:
- An all-time fan favorite of Battlefield players, Conquest is a large-scale game mode with up to 64 players fighting for the control of key objectives. With large armies on foot or behind the wheel and the addition of fearsome Behemoths, Conquest brings together all the elements of the signature Battlefield All-Out War.
Rush:
- A 24-player mode where the Attacking force must find and destroy the Defending force's Telegraph Posts, which can be used to call in artillery strikes. The Defenders can deny the Attackers their mission by disarming explosives they plant on the telegraph positions. Should the Telegraph Posts be destroyed, the Defenders must fall back to the next sector and protect the Telegraph Posts there.
Battlefield 1 is set to release on October 21 2016, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
