Battlefield 3 Premium is 20% off for remainder of 2012

Battlefield 3 Premium, the premium content pack for DICE's critically acclaimed shooter, will be 20% cheaper for the rest of 2012. That means the normally $49.99 membership will be available for just $39.99 for the next 10 days. Remember, that includes the standalone Battlefield 3 game and all five of its themed expansion packs — over a year's worth of content!

Battlefield 3, which released in 2011, has been supported with five expansion packs: Karkand, Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath, and End Game. Four of them have already been released, with End Game set to arrive in March 2013. Today, we received the first details about the final add-on, End Game, which packs four new maps, three new vehicles, and the return of Capture The Flag mode. By being a Premium member, you'll also get access to this upcoming content two weeks early.

Combined, the five expansion packs total in 20 maps, 20 new weapons, 10+ new vehicles, 4 new game modes, 30+ assignments, and 20+ dog tags. That's quite a bundle for just $39.99.

Check out EA's online store, Origin, if you're interested in Battlefield 3: Premium.
