Battlefield 4 premium members weren’t able to kick in the New Years with double XP as originally scheduled. Instead, developer DICE has postponed the event and will run it at a “later date.”
"The end of December 2XP event for premium members has been postponed and will be run at a later date. Stay tuned for more information. We apologize for the inconvenience," the site reads.
The postponement comes on the heels of DICE acknowledging “intermittent connectivity problems” that have plagued PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users since launch. While players have reported better connectivity in recent weeks, there still seems to be a significant amount still suffering from getting booted out of their games after matches.
We will be sure to let you know when the double XP event is rescheduled for.
