Battlefield 4 is getting the update you were waiting for

Tweaking Battlefield 4 has been an uphill battle for DICE. They released patch after patch to fix bugs, then fix bugs caused by fixes.

Their next patch, which is set to release in September, is one that you have been waiting for.

It will bring general improvements/tweaks to the game like: vehicle balance, improve the revive mechanic, fix soldier movements, improve the "Netcode" and a few specifics we chose to highlight (because they are great improvements – that's why).

They are de-cluttering the HUD/UI and adding "several options and functionality to make your screen much less cluttered."

The update will also work on "maintaining a consistent Time To Kill (how long an average engagement lasts for). With the changes to visual recoil, the third person hit reactions and improved tickrates has been sped up somewhat as we still need to balance this with damage and recoil changes."

You can check out the full details on the Battlefield Blog, but that's the gist of it.

What do you think of this upcoming update?
