Fans itching to see some of Battlefield 4's multiplayer gameplay will have to wait until the Electronic Entertainment Expo next month, as EA confirmed today that DICE will be unveiling a "spectacular live demo" prior to the tradeshow.
At "The Download: EA 2013 Preview" press conference on Monday, June 10, DICE will finally lift the lid on Battlefield 4's multiplayer. The event will take place at 1:00pm PST and be viewable on Spike TV and EA's official website. Meanwhile, E3 attendees will have the chance to go hands-on with Battlefield 4's multiplayer in EA's booth. For those unable to attend the tradeshow, DICE will be streaming the entire E3 booth experience, including multiplayer matches complete with commentary.
So far, all we've seen of Battlefield 4 has been single-player campaign footage and while it certainly looks impressive, EA and DICE are well aware that the majority of fans are ready for some multiplayer details. Rumors about the return of Commander Mode have been swirling around for quite a while now, so we're definitely looking forward to seeing if those turn out to be true.
