Battlefield 4's third expansion pack, Naval Strike, will be available for Premium members in "late March," DICE confirmed today. Though it's not an exact date, it's more specific than the general "spring" window we received when the DLC was first revealed.
In a post today, DICE shared a few more details about the upcoming expansion including the names of four new maps: Lost Island, Nansha Stirke, Wave Breaker, and Operation Mortar.
"In this expansion, you’ll experience intense water-based combat as the Chinese armada takes the fight to the sea. You’ll have access to new weapons, gadgets, and amphibious vehicles, and four all-new maps – Lost Island, Nansha Strike, Wave Breaker, and Operation Mortar," the developer teased.
I'm assuming the exact release date and further details will be shared at a later date. In the meantime, players will soon gain access to Battlefield 4's second expansion, Second Assault, which will be released next week for Premium members on PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC (it's already available on Xbox One).
