The Battlefield 4 'Night Operations' DLC is bringing more than just a new night map to the game, it's bringing an entirely different gaming experience. The new map, Zavod: Graveyard Shift, is essentially a night version of Zavod 311 with some tweaks and improvements.
Graveyard Shift will have players taking the stealthy tactical approach. DICE tweaked the passive/active spotting in the map, making it easier to flank your opponent – but- they also improved the sound so you can pinpoint just where those footsteps came from.
If you thought hiding would be easier on this, it will be – but (again) – DICE has added extra polish to night gadgets, making them shine in the dark and kind of awful in the day.
Zavod: Graveyard Shift supports the standard game modes: Conquest, Rush, Team Deathmatch, Obliteration, Domination and Gun Master. For the first time ever, DICE created a secondary layout for a map specifically for Gun Master mode – it's going to be even darker with new Weapons Presets tailored for it.
