Battlefield 4 ‘Night Operations’ DLC and Summer Patch releasing next week

The 'Night Operations' DLC for Battlefield 4 is coming, and it's coming soon, unfortunately it's releasing at the same time Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is releasing. It's rough to have to compete with that behemoth of a game.

Battlefield 4's Night Operations and the Summer Patch will be rolling out on all platforms worldwide on September 1st – except for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 users in Europe. Europe PlayStation players can look forward to seeing the Night Operation DLC roll out on September 8th (no reason cited).

The Summer Patch for Battlefield 4 has yet to be detailed, but by the time the patch releases we should see what it includes. The fact that EA/Dice separated the two in a forum post suggests that the DLC and Patch are not one in the same. The Night Operations DLC brings a night version of Zavod 311, called Zavod: Graveyard Shift and a number of tweaks to items. This map is the first map that a secondary map layout has been specifically made for Gun Master mode.
