Battlefield 4 players can unlock Heist Mode for Hardline’s beta

Two billion points? No problem.

Electronic Arts and Visceral Games are giving players a chance to unlock an extra mode in Battlefield: Hardline's upcoming beta.

While the open beta, which has yet to be dated, will give us a look at the classic 64-player Conquest and new high-speed Hotwire modes, this week's community mission in Battlefield 4 will reward us with another.

Starting today, the community missions tasks players with scoring two billion points in Battlefield 4's Rush mode by the cut off on January 24, 11:59pm PST. If successful, you will unlock Heist, an objective game mode where the criminals attempt to infiltrate a cash-filled vault and escape with the money. Meanwhile, the cops have to try to prevent the robbery and/or the criminals' escape.

Heist was one of the game modes revealed today that will be available at Battlefield: Hardline's launch. Check out the full launch lineup of maps and modes here.
