The Battlefield 4 double XP event for Premium subscribers, which was originally set to begin last Sunday, Dec. 29, is on track to begin tomorrow, Friday, January 3rd. It was postponed earlier this week shortly after DICE acknowledged "intermittent connectivity problems," which have actually plagued the game since launch. It's not certain if that's what caused this postponement, but either way the event is coming.
According to a message on Battlelog, the event will start at 6:00am PST (9:00am EST) and will give provide you with a solid 58 hours of double experience.
In other Battlefield 4 news, DICE still has no release date for the game's Second Assault expansion pack. Currently, only Xbox One players have access to the DLC, as it was originally a timed-exclusive. As always, we'll be sure to keep you up to date with anything we learn.
