Battlefield is changing things up a bit in an effort to make their multiplayer services more streamlined. In a new post on the Battleblog, Global Lead Community Manager, Dan Mitre talked about the changes that will be coming to Battlefield players across all three main entries, Battlefield 4, Battlefield: Hardline and the upcoming Battlefield 1.
The big news here is the addition that lets players create Squads with their friends before they head into a multiplayer game. Mitre said, "Being able to join up with your friends and join into a game together makes it a much smoother experience, and helps make sure you're able to spawn on your buddies as soon as you're in the game."
The rest of the details are a bit sparse, but Mitre says there will be a recommendation engine to suggest maps and modes and that the new UI is releasing in beta for Battlefield 4 players across a small audience. Stay tuned for more information.
